Its been a crackers busy few weeks since the last entry and lots has been going on. Take a look at the pictures on the left.......as I try to cover all that has gone on.
So the football season is underway and Team UniKurve were asked to lend a hand with Grimsby Town football club with some strength and conditioning.
UniKurve ambassador Wayne Gordon lead the session and I think its safe to say that a few sore bodies were hobbling around Cleethorpes over the following few days. 3 separate circuits were run in a round robin using all 3 weights of UniKurve and a few other attachments and implements of torture...sorry fitness. It really was a great session and all the players commented on how versatile and effective UniKurve is. The Club have UniKurve in their gym now and I understand they are getting some regular abuse from the players which is great news.
There were some other fitness events being held over the country too. UniKurve was a feature stand at Giants Live, Europe's strongest man and a large crowd was
gathered throughout the day were many people tried out strong man type exercises with UniKurve XTRHV and a set on heavy chains. This raised several eyebrows and
we gained a whole new set of fans. Bigger Stronger Faster was another competitive fitness event held at Andy 'IronMac' McKenzie's gym The Training Lab.
This was an awesome event sponsored by Muscle and Fitness Magazine and the UniKurve stand was regularly assaulted by spectators and competitors alike.
With lots of positive comments received it was time to
head north again and press on to the most important build of for an event in the short history of UniKurve. ...Leisure Industry Week.....So look out for the next instalment where I will wax lyrical (hopefully) about an excellent LIW... and my 1st official half marathon.
I really cant believe that it has been 18 months since we launched UniKurve at the B-Fit Expo. So many things have happened. UniKurve has got 2 world class athletes as ambassadors, TV's gladiators Doom and Enigma AKA Wayne Gordon and Jenny Pacey.
DVD's have been shot by Work Image to help you on the fitness quest, many friends have been made and expert Trainers like Andy 'IronMac' McKenzie are using UniKurve in some weird and wonderful ways that are sure to drive you to your limits.
And the Ultimate accolade so far has to be the collaboration with Muscle & Fitness Magazine who are backing UniKurve with an advertising campaign and a feature in the August edition. This just shows that some of the most important people in fitness believe in UniKurve.
As a Joint venture Muscle & Fitness and UniKurve are now official sponsors of Nick 'HeadHunter' Chapman who is the UK1 MMA light heavyweight champion and is going for the world title on June 22nd 2013.
Whats next? Well who knows, but I can guarantee one thing, it is going to be an interesting journey that is bound to surprise, excite, astound and shock anyone who decides to join the Kurvolution and take their personal fitness to the next level.
Well its one week since the official Launch of Unikurve at the B-Fit Expo held at the London Excel Arena. Unikurve was well received. Everyone that had a go was 100% impressed. We heard many words to describe Unikurve from Functional to Sick (Im told that means good). Some real big guys looked at Unikurve and they were like 'I dont get it!' a qucik demo later 'Oh, I get it now, can i have a go it looks cool!' followed by Wow Im surprised, I really like it!
Some big hitters in the personal fitness game who I really look upto also had a play and gave Unikurve glowing a glowing report. I would very much like to Thank Andy McKenzie from www.ironmacfitness.com who had some crazy ideas with Unikurve. Jackie Diss 'the go to girl in fitness' www.jackiediss.co.uk who was waxing lyrical about Unikurve after putting it hrough its paces. The unstoppable James St Leger www.stlegerfitness.com for posing for some great Pics in positions that take such great core strength taken by www.fitnessblogger.co.uk and posted on Facebook and Twitter and of course on his superb blog.
There were so many great people who met the team and had a go that to mention them all would take soooo long that I would get blisters on my fingers from typing! You know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your superb comments.
